​Lesson planning is one of the most important activities you do as a teacher.  A teacher who lesson plans has less bad behavior from students, wastes less class time and is much less stressed.  Lesson planning allows teachers to think through the lesson and plan for possible results.  She can foresee potential problems and fix them before they happen.  She thinks about how her students learn and adjusts to those needs.  As a result, teachers who lesson plan have students who score higher on tests and are much less stressed.
